Default emissions ?

i need to run through emissions on monday and was wondering IF i should put the truck back to stock tune or just run it threw with the performence tune? does it matter? cant find any info....

I would think you'd be fine either way, considering the tuner is CARB approved.

all depends how they do it. most places dont put the truck on the rollers any more. they use their scanner and log into the trucks ports to see if it is ok. depending where you go, bring your tuner along just incase.

Well in California, they still put vehicles on rollers. It's part of the smog inspection. But where you are Coondog, you should be fine.

well it shouldn't matter because with our vehicles as long as the check engine light is not on it should pass. cause all they are checking for is to see if everything is reading like it should. cause i have headers on my truck and high flow cats and exhaust that comes out the side. and its fine with emissions i get done. so you'll be fine.

tuners fine with emissions... headers ok....but they frowned at the electric cutout but hey....cant bitch it passed!

i did it... i cut out the factory y-pipe out and put a free flow magnaflow one in and then welded the cutout right after it!

its a butterfly valve (in a y-pipe) in my exhaust before the muffler that when opened lets out the exhaust without passing threw the muffler...headers then cats then out.... sounds good! google it, to see what it looks like
