I do know that the rams have rear disc, but I haven't attempted it, or looked into it. Good Luck

Yea I think the slt Dakota has discs also. But are the ram axles wider and does the pinion shaft have the same bolt patterns for the driveshaft?

no 05+ dakotas have been made with rear discs...

they only had rear discs on a few years of the 2nd gen dakotas, but the are 6 lug...

And the ram and durango with 5 lug and rear discs are too wide to fit...

well thats what i need is the wider axle, im making custom mounts anyway. Just wondering if the driveshaft flange is direct fit and how much wider the ram/durango axles are...with discs.

also are the 2nd gen daks with discs direct bolt in regards to the driveshaft. im doin custom shackles, leafs, and shocks. just need to know about the Dshaft.

thanks

Don't mind Frenchy he's a little weird sometimes

I don't know whether the 2nd gen dakota axles are a fit in regards to that or not, keep in mind though the 2nd gens were 6 lug so finding matching wheels could be a pain.

oh yea i forgot about that. well than nevermind the 2nd gen dak. what about the 05 06 durango axle with discs? do you know if the pinion bolts right up to our driveshaft yoke? i guess i could find out the long way and go measure someones but im trying to get as much research for this project as i can.

keep in mind that i only need to make sure the drive shaft bolts up. as far as leafs and shock locations does not matter because im doing something else with it.

thanks altair......and frenchy

Afraid I can't help you on that one, if you ask really nicely in the Durango section maybe someone will measure theirs for you
