Default Where are all the 08-09 owners?

I've been lurking around for a few months now since picking up my 08 Laramie and haven't noticed anybody talking about owning an 08 or newer model. With the increased output of the V8 for the 08 model I would think that there would be more interest in them.

I think sales have dropped in the truck market quite a bit, plus people are getting 05's and 06 models used for a steal right now.

I think theres a few 08 guys on here.

Yeah, I figured that the economy would have something to do with it but with the deep discounts, I figured there would be more 08 owners. I got mine for 9k under sticker.

We just purchased an 08 w/Laramie package pretty well loaded about 3 weeks ago. It's my wife's ride. It has the V8. It is a nice truck and our 2nd Dakota. I also have a 94 that I have had for 13 years.

A machanic at my dealer said 2010 may be the last Dakota, but wouldn't say if it was somthing he heard. There are no 08/09 Daks on the lot.

There was a rumor about that a while back. I guess we will see what happens.

obama spread the weath so now no one can afford them. OR everyone realized toyota was a superior product and the dakota took the biggest hit... Sorry I am being the pessimist tonight but I am tired and cranky and rambling.

I got mine for 15K under sticker. look at sales: 08 25K; 07 50K; 06 100K:
05 150K, 04 150K. It's like dinosaurs dying out. I bought mine new for what others were paying used.
