Default our camshafts are doomed

well, crane cams just closed its doors this weekend. so anyone who wanted to update cams might be out of luck. i think this is where krc and airram where getting them ground, not to sure. but dodge might have some h.o. cams laying around for upgrades

...wow, thats too bad. Maybe Comp Cams will pick up the 4.7L cams blanks and start the grinding and spintron testing, which would be cool.

THis is my second 4.7 motor and it has been a while since I looked but what is the best cam for a streetable mid range power grind? 212 maybe? Does anyone know of anybody that is running the HO cams on a non HO motor with a dyno for proof? Did it make good power?

Yeah, I noticed it and stuck it in "off brand news" a while ago. I think this is gonna have more repurcussions than what you see on the surface. If I'm not mistaken, Crane was manufacturing all of KRC's Cams with custom grinds off Marty's specs.
I don't think this means the end of KRC cams, but I bet it'll take them a while to get set up with another manufacturer.
There goes my custom ground KRC 210 for my Hemi with the -4 degree 108 LSA I was getting!!!
