Default I made a miraculous discovery today...

After reading how everyone complains about the little silver surround on the headlight assembly, I took my spare headlight assembly I have outta my room, and played around with it...

Let me know what you think! :-)

I like it a lot! What'd you use to cut if off? Did you just throw the headlights in the oven at a low temp. to pull them apart?

My plan at some point is to buy a spare set of headlights and remove that orange piece of plastic on the side there. I wanna replace it with some clear plastic-- the stuff they use to cover lights in ceilings. Not sure what it's called. I think the hardest part is gonna be cutting the new plastic without it snapping. A guy I work with did it with his car and it looks factory!

I wouldn't go darker, Rich, I'd only do three layers...

You could try, but I honestly wouldn't...

Ahhh now I see what your talking about. lol my bad. I thought you were posting pics showing that you removed that little plastic piece that covers the turnsignal bulb, just like the headlight bulb.

I doubt it would be hard, I just don't know how hard getting it out of there will be...
