Blacksport I don't know if you realize this but some of your posts in this thread come off as argumentative/borderline attacking Blu_Dak. Blu_Dak that response isn't going to help anything either.

Just tone it down and keep it civil guys, if this turns into a little war I'm locking the thread.

No problem. Didn't want to offend anyone.

P.S. Thanks for the PM, Blu.

So back on topic. Instead of the mopar hitch I'd suggest a Hidden Hitch for the dak. That's what I put on mine, 2 bolts on the pass and driver side. 1 big bolt up through the bumper where the hole for the ball is and all done. Much easier then messing with the bumper or whatever else and it's a class 3.

I think every 3G Dakota hitch is more or less identical. They all use what the factory provides - a 4 bolt pattern plus the bumper bolt. If it's steel, and it's heavy, it will be fine. The tongue shear pin will give away long before any other part of the hitch will.

idk why they wouldnt, i mean, in the winter when there is ice on my mirrors you can see it melt off as your driving, as long as you turn the mirror heat on
