my convertor tends to hold first gear a little to long. if i get on it it stalls just great, but coming off a light in traffic, it tends to wanna creap up in rpms before it lurches into gear. and before i had issues with keep the tires planted. now forget it. i have such wheel hop it feels like the back end is going to break free from the rest of the truck. i may have to try a different type of drag radial at the track

I'm going to make a complete DIY for this. To include the injector flow calculators and injector pulse witdths.

So far I have tested the following mixtures.
1. 75% Ethanol 25% water
2. 100% Methanol
3. 100% Denatured Alcohol.

So far 3 has been the best at lowering EGTs and boosting HP in my truck. Right now I'm starting flow at 3psi boost and I think that is as low as I will go for now. I can program it for 1psi if I really wanted to, but so far 3psi seems to be the magic number.

There is an article in this month's PRI magazine about alcohol/water injection. Apparently it's becoming really popular for forced-induction engines.

Meth cooling systems are becomming more popular alternatives to intercoolers. I'm runnnig my Alcohol program to cool the blower charge and as a power fuel to aid in acceleration. I'm also adding a tank with alcohol line looped several times and putting dry ice in it to seriously drop the alcohol temp. We are calling it "Cryo Alky," lol.

Damn, dropping the temp of the alcohol? Like it's not cold enough???? lol

From what I've been reading, the main purpose/benefit of injection is cooling of the intake temp on forced induction. Makes perfect sense to me.

What I'm contructing now is called a "Dry Ice Chamber." There is a small cylinder that I have spooled alcohol line into. It sits inside a larger cylinder and is insulsated by styrofoam. The small cylinder is packed with dry ice. It will mount inside the engine bay and be used for dyno and racing. Only a foot or so of travel to the injectors.

I'm not just cooling with it. Im' fueling with it also, similiar to nitrous systems. That is why I need all of the computer control. My compression ratios changed, my plenum pressure is effected, etc.

Ethanol (denatured alcohol) contains oxygen, it has a very low power stoichiometric when compared to gasoline fuels (6.5 compared to 12.5). Ethanol must be run at much richer mixtures than gasoline, more than offsetting the lower energy per unit volume. The net energy released per cycle is higher and this results in more horsepower.
For example, if gasoline is run at its preferred max power air fuel mixture of 12.5/1, it will release approximately 19,000 BTU's of energy, where ethanol run at its preferred power stoichiometric of 6.5/1 will release approximately 24,400 BTU's. By comparison, methanol releases slightly more, about 27,650 BTU's. The more ethanol there is in gasoline, the more powerful it is as a motor fuel."
