Rear Locker

Ok, So basically what I've learned from this is that I need a locker and not a LSD. Remember, I am going to be using this to do light offroading. I am pretty proud of my 3.7 2wd, shes a trooper but I think this locker will help alot.
Hahns, can you tell me the difference between those two "lunchbox lockers" you posted?

What is the difference and which one of those two should I buy? Also, How can I make sure they fit my truck? Thanks for the help and patience. I am fairly new to all of this.

Aren't the V6s 8.25 rearends? Those are both 9.25 listings. Either way I'd get a lunch box locker just b/c you should be able to do it in your own garage with little work. I personally like Aussie lockers over Powertrax. Lunch box lockers are known to break (offroad) eventually and Aussie has a history of not having any that have broke. Some like em so much theyve put em in comp rock crawlers. Aussie does make one for the 8.25 but not the 9.25. I'd go with them. Priced right at $300.
If they carry yours I'd check them first. Unless you go with an LSD...

Most LSD's need a certain amount of resistance from the spinning wheel to transfer torque, careful application of the brakes can provide the resistance needed and allow the LSD to do it's job. This is even mentioned by Eaton on their site or the installation instructions for the True-Trac...
