According to the 2009 Ultimate Wheel & Tire Guide I picked up our trucks take a wheel with an offset of 15-25

What I've been able to dig up on the Rockstars:
18x9s are offered with a +0mm offset

20x8.5s are offered with +10mm and +35mm offsets

20x10s are offered wih a -24mm offset

20x12s are offered with a -44mm offset

22x9.5s are offered with +12mm, +18mm, and +38mm offsets

22x12s are offered with a -44mm offset

24x12s are offered with a -44mm offset

thanks a lot!

so +0mm probably wouldn't do anything then huh? it'd basically just line up perfectly?

i was really hoping to keep 18's too, but i really want a negative offset

okay so i am sticking with 18" rims and found something called "wheel spacers" would those work to give me an offset? i just want a little bit of an offset so i'm not sure what size i want, but i found this site that does 5mm to 3/4" think for their wheel spacers, so say i want a 15mm offset...would i just say i wanted one that was 15mm??

What are you trying to accomplish? You want the wheels to stick out further? (deep dish) Or you want them to be more inwards towards the truck?

As for the wheel guide, it's something I picked up on the magazine rack in one of the shops in Penn Station. I'd imagine places that tend to have auto magazines would have it.

lol sorry i'm confusing myself too, i want the wheels to stick out which i found out with have to be a positive offset like 15mm or something, i had the wrong impression, i thought something like -15 would stick my tires out more, i want them to sit out from my truck just a little bit, not too much, i'd be fine if they didn't even stick out but i just really like that look which is why i was looking for the offset, but 18's didn't offer it so now i'm looking into the 20" and looking at the 305/50/20 toyo open country a/t which idk if those will work after i get the lift and leveling kit so i'm trying to figure that out because i have no idea how to tell if it will work

okay thanks, i'll probably look around tmrw cuz i definitely think it'd help me out and be cool to have

a negative offset is when your tire sticks out more

thanks i'm just really confused because these rims that my friend got had a 19mm offset and they stick out from her truck, just a little bit though, so if i want an offset i gotta find a rim that says -##mm?

like this right here, this is the offset i'm talking about, i love this truck...

so does anybody know if i could clear 305/50/20 or 305/55/20 on my dakota with a 3" body lift and 2" leveling kit?
if not, what would be the biggest tire that i could clear with no rubbing?
