I will tell you this gentlemen. There are a handfull of people I consult with with before serious modifications. Its usually Richie (scjeep4.7HO), Viperkota, Hemifever and Bondslayer. If these guys offer advice you can take it to the bank.
Frenchy, a T24 would never be able to flow enough on the intake or exhaust side for a 4.7L. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't even think they offer a t24 with an .82 a/r housing. I would consider an .82 a/r or bigger for the exhaust housing. If you are only looking to run 6 psi consider a 57 trim, 60 trim, or bigger. If you install a turbocharger that is too small for your engine application, depending on boost levels, you can get compressor surge because the engine spools the turbo too quickly. This of course is all relative to intake system flow characteristics. I am actually experiencing this on my car. After the new cam profiles and severe port work, I get compressor surge if I run anything over 22 psi. Looks like I need to go bigger...
