Boosting question...
Blown287, is your SC's oil fed from the engine and returned to the pan?
Yes, I had to drill and tap the oil pan for the return line. You can see the send line in the picture just look at the line running into the top of the blower.

so after going out and piecing each piece together from prices on the internet... I am at 6,498. Thats without a cam, wideband, or dyno tune.
Since you are going to be changing internals to forged, are you going to modify the compression ratio or keep it stock? also, what do you plan on running for head studs and gaskets? I assumed arp studs in that price...
Also, the price has a new 50 trim turbo... Also a new intercooler, waste gate, blow off valve and RRFPR. The set up is probably good for 10-14 PSI.
so figure on another 1500 or so for the tuning, wideband+data logger and cam + install goodies.
And of course add in a little for misc stuff I am forgetting. (like I left out a turbo timer.)
If you are really planning on doing this any time soon, Might be time to start getting your homework done on where your putting it on, who's tuning it, where the dyno is and how your getting the truck there.
I dont know that its not possible for one of the SCT guys to tune something like this. but if you decided to change compression ratio, cam, boost... you wont have any kind of baseline to work from.
also, keep in mind that when I pieced this together, I used what I consider "good" parts. turbonetics turbo, perrin IC, Greddy blow off valve...

Eric I priced a standard turbo setup about a year ago and I was looking at around 8,000 by the time it was said and done. That is why I said my choice was either STS or finding a used blower.
