Default couple of questions

i have had my new dak since oct. and i have a few problems, i have a waranty but i would like to fix it my self if i can.
1- driver power seat fuse keeps popping
2- when i am on the gas it howls or whines, and around 40-55 mph at half throttle or cruising it makes a weird almost computer log on type noise with no adverse performance or issues
thankyou for your help, i haven't been on this site for almost three years since i sold my R/T, good to be back, and did i see a guy with a blown dak? that i want too see.

Welcome back! 1 sounds to me like there may be a short somewhere, possibly in the wiring or the control might be bad. 2 is more interesting, does it sound like the kind of howl or whistle air can make? Yeah you did see right, Blown287 is running a Paxton supercharger in his, pretty badass.

the howl get louder as the speed increases when i let off it stops, but if i'm doin like 45mph on a flat road the the weird sound kicks i when my speed steadies. iwas on the interstate this weekend and it was fine except for the first howl noise but it's been there since i bought it. i thought a fuel filter would fix it, then i realized where it is.

Welcome back Maniac. I like to do all of my repairs myself too, but dude you said it is in warranty. Let the stealership fix it with free parts and labor.

I'm not really sure on that howl, you could try making a recording of the noise and posting it but it may just be better to let the dealer throw parts at it on their dime.

could the howling be the tread of the tires? also might sound like a wheel bearing going. as for the other sound, could it be the clutch fan engaging?

I turned my radio all the way down and also noticed a howling noise while at highway speeds. There is still snow and ice on the hood though so it might have something to do with it. Just a slight whistle that changes pitch with vehicle speed and NOT engine speed.

Altairs idea - record the noise - most cell phones record video and or voice notes, in case you don't have some better recording equipment. Post it up so we can hear what you do.

the tires are new, i should record the sound its different, i am going to the stealership today cause i need a plate light cover, and to see if i have any recalls or reflashes for my pcm, i did buy this used and i am tring to figure out the waranty on where to take it, i don't want to take it where i bought it from, they changed the oil and didn't notice the front swaybar shackle on pass. side was unbolted.

If it's still under warranty that should be honored at any dealer.

Yes Sir. Drive train mods for this spring will be 3000 edge stall, Stage-3 tranny valve body and Limited Slip. Looking into intercoolers and perhaps the new KRC Billett cam shafts (waiting to see dyno numbers on them).
