need offroad advice
i have a 05 dak 4x4 4.7L quad cab auto st. i understand from all the other threads and my own searching that there is no suspension lift available for my truck, but i still wanna do something. i live out in the desert of 29palms and take my truck offroad every weekend, sand trails and dune like hill climing. i would like some beefier tires and a little more clearance. is the leveling kit the way to go? and i know the body lift will get bigger tires but i hate the look of it without suspension lift. im looking into the rancho shocks because i know mine wont last much longer (me and my buddy just blew his out on his 08 tacoma the other day lol), but i was wonderin if anyone has advice on what the best way is for me to get my truck to stand a little higher and look a little meaner.

I would go with the 2" leveling kit and 2" blocks in the back that should get you some clearance there also is a body lift you can do but thats about it for the Dakotas unfortunately.. I also recommend you look in the FAQ and find my posts about wheels and tires that also should help you with tire and wheel fitments good luck..
Dont mind Frenchy he is our welcome wagon for new comers LOL, always wear protection you never know when you may get some thing in your eye when working on your truck .. Cya Slick

You have to understand when guys or gals come in here they already have there trucks and want to do some thing to them, there not going to turn around sell it to buy some thing else.. They want to work on what they have, so that being said more or less your kinda screwed/Dakota after market, work with what you got thats all you can do.. Cya Slick
