need a lil help with my truck.
ok, so my mom bought a 06 dakota and since has been VERY on pleased on how it preforms. her main problems are that the suspension is very squishy and the time between actually pressing the gas and the engine responding to it is very slow. a lag of sorts. i was wondering if these problems are common for this truck and if there are any easy or inexpensive fixes.
im a bit of a newb to the whole car thing so excuse me if my lingo is a bit off or somthing.
thanks ^_^
p.s. this but four doors.

Welcome to the site. For the suspension, I just added Rancho struts and shocks and it make a huge difference in the ride of the truck. Some people like the Monroe or even stock replacement. For the G3 Dakota, I definately the Ranchos.
For the throttle resposne, I'm not really sure. Check the throttle cable to ensure there isn't slack in it. When was the last tune up? Fresh plugs and the works might help out. A high flow air system like FIPK or cold air intakes helpes out alot. If you have a couple hundred, try a Superchips Cortex with 91 aggressive tune.

Welcome to DF! Blown pretty much covered all the bases for you, I know my Superchips Flashpaq made a very noticeable difference in my throttle response. They're around $300 but well worth it in my opinion.
