Thanks for doing all of the leg work on this one Trucky. I have thought of doing the upgrade to 4.10's as well and this has been a very interesting read. It seems like Dodge couldn't have screwed our trucks up more if they tried as far as aftermarket support. I love my truck, but this is crazy.

Working on it in the Ram forum right now, with the help of Emery too. We will get to the bottom of this.

End result is you have to either get a fabbed up gearset like superdak, or use the front axle off an 02-03 durango that you find in a junkyard, and put the aftermarket gears inside that. Overall not worth it in my opinion unless you stumble on a cheap used front axle.

It doesn't come with 4.10 that's why I mentioned you have to get the axle AND drop in aftermarket (4.10) gears. I also thought I answered that 3.92 or 4.10 question already, I said it would not be worth all that money to upgrade to a stock gear ratio that is only 1 step above the lower (3.55) ratio. 4.10 or even 4.56 are the only way you are going to get your money's worth.
Let's not forget we are only talking about 4X4's with this problem. If you have 2X4 you can get 4.10 for the rear and they WILL fit no problem, just get the correct axle size (9.25 I believe).
As far as ISF or Solid I don't know for Durango...ask on the Durango forum?
