Hey Slick,
I thought you were going from a 25 offset to a 25 offset with a wider rim. You will not have a problem with the wheels, according to this calculator. The tires seem to be the question.

Check it out, best comparison chart I've seen yet.

It's a no go on the splitting any cost, I'm sticking with 265/50/20 on these Ram 20's. Unless you squeeze them Cooper's on somehow. Just waiting for the winter to depart.
BTW, those SRT10 rims will look sweet!

They are takeoffs from a 2009 Laramie 1500. The are the chrome clad, so negative on the painting, plus I like em chrome.

All of this is sort of confusing to me. If I want a 20" rim and tires to fit that aren't a REALLY thick sidewall (because I want a street look, but still a comfortable ride not like only 2" of sidewall like some cars have), what size can I get? I also want the widest tire possible without rub. I was thinking 275/50/r20 but Slick is saying that's too big? Any way of figuring out the widest tire possible with like a 4" sidewall height would be that fits?
Edit: I just saw that link with the wheel chart, thanks for that. That sort of answers my question but I'd still like to know for sure.

if you dont care about your sidewall height go ahead and buy them SRT 10 wheels you can fit all kinds of tires on them 20's.. I just like some sidewall height so thats why I wanted 275/55/20 in the coopers but I am afraid they may be a tad big so I may go with 18" wheels and then the coopers zeons in the 285/60/18 and not have to worry about it.. The only thing is finding some thing I like in the 18" maybe the Monsters I dont know.. Cya Slick

Well, the 285/50/20's were tried by a member, and there were rubbing issues. He switched back to 265/50/20's. And that was on a Ram 20, offset of 19.

I don't think 275/55 20 will fare much better. A few members are runnin' 265/50/20, I've seen that size in person and I think it works fine. Over 5 inches of sidewall with no worries of rubbing. I just want Cooper to expand their size offerings with the Zeon LTZ's, and soon!

According to the wheel chart the 285/40/20 are SMALLER than stock 265/70/16. Mainly because of the 40 sidewall, but I like that for my new street look. So, if the chart is correct, the 285 nitto 420s will fit.

I think your best choices are 265/50/20 or 275/45/20. Of course the 275's will be a little bit wider. If your truck is not lowered, that will be a rather large wheelgap. The 265/50/20 will look better in my opinion, but my Dakota is not lowered. There is a good selection of tires for both those sizes.

Slick wanted to put on 275/55/20's, that fit is questionable. There is also 275/50/20, but there only a few tires to choose from at that size, and the prices are ridiculous! I am not an expert on tires, but I have read a quite a few threads about them.

Slick wants those Cooper's bad!!!!!!!

Hey Trucky,
I was typing before I saw your last post. The 285/40/20's looks like it would work, but is your truck stock suspension?
