I like the monster wheels. They have a rugged look to them.

Yah it's stock... I'm thinking of getting the rancheros everyone is raving about though, why do you ask? My finger is practically on the 'buy' button for them nittos and srt rims...

I think you should see that size on a truck. I think that size would look too small on a stock suspension, BIG wheel gap. That's just my opinion, but it's your truck, if you like it, then go for it. The srt rims do look good.

And you will love the Rancho's!

Hm, I see what you mean but I can't have a thick sidewall on nitto street tires you know? Blown has the nittos I want and he has 265 with some good space in between, so maybe my 285's would fill the gap a bit?

Blown has 265/50/20, if you get 285/40/20, it will be wider, but a shorter tire. So there would be more gap between the tire and fender.

I don't think 275/55 20 will fare much better. A few members are runnin' 265/50/20, I've seen that size in person and I think it works fine. Over 5 inches of sidewall with no worries of rubbing. I just want Cooper to expand their size offerings with the Zeon LTZ's, and soon!
I wish I could have read that thread about the 285/50/20 rubbing, I was at work thinking that I was going to go ahead get them SRT - 10 wheels and go with what ever cooper zeon tire 285/50/20 or 275/55/20 and hope it worked but after reading your post about some one with a ram having rubbing issues here I am bailing again alright I am going to see if I can find that thread.. Cya Slick

PS..Your right I do want them coopers bad LOL I love the looks of them

Dakotaff/Slick, any ideas who had 285/50/20s? The tire calc. says they are just a hair taller than stock, I'd like to know if rubbing was only on extreme turns or brutally annoying. Because that tire size is perfect otherwise...

Here is the thread. Before you get too excited after reading the first post, read through it, see what he says in post #18. I figure he tried it, and an honest review.
Look at his sig., he switched to 265/50/20's

Well what I got out of that 285/50/20 thread is that he went to a smaller tire size because he did not like them sticking out of the wheel well which I dont mind myself.. Like you all know I have not found a wheel that I liked very much until I found these black SRT- 10 wheels, nothing has made me want to buy anything and thats a first LOL.. At least we know that the 275/55/20 wont work which eliminates that size, Well I feel a little better about going with the srt-10 wheels.. I did go looking at the 265/50/20 size tire, no way to narrow of a side wall for me, thanks for posting the thread that helped me alot..Cya Slick
