MBRP Exhaust for Dakota; From the Beginning
Alright everyone, sorry for the delay.
I used my sisters camera, and it had pretty decent sound quality.
To take advantage of this video, you will need a decent speaker system on your computer and possibly a subwoofer. Laptop speakers wont do any justice.
The video isnt the greatest, it was just something I did quick. I will do some nice videos over the weekend, including some take offs when someone is here to help me. Let me know if you have any requests.
The video starts out from a cold engine start up. The truck was moved from the end of the driveway, so the engine was already on for about a minute before the start up in the video. It starts out with idleing and some reving. I then take the camera inside the truck with the door closed to do some more reving. Next, I roll down all four windows to take if for a drive. You do hear wind noise, but with a decent sound system you should hear the exhaust. I take the truck down the block where I turn around in a sub division. From the corner where I turn right, I floor it. The speed limit is only 35, so I let off of it when it shifts in to second. From here, I cruise around 40 mph and then turn of the OD and shift in to 2nd. I do a couple of moderate accelerations. After this I roll up the windows and pull back in to the drive way. I will do some videos of cab noise with windows up and everything this weekend. Enjoy!

You know, I really like the look of dumping the exhaust before the rear tire but its just too loud for me. The exhaust note is a little raspier from not going through a tail pipe, and also with the single exits all the sound is directed one way. I like the duals out towards the side because its loud when I get on it, but if there is a cop next to me or behind me, he isnt gettin blasted with all the noise so it doesnt sound nearly as obnoxious. Just my .02 though.
