Well @rengnath, I finally convenienced myself and bought one lol. $326.75 off of the site that MrCrash had posted.

@MrCrash - That sucks man about your delay, when did you order this last friday? I went back on the date to see when you posted that. If you getting yours tomorrow I might get mine Friday or Saturday.

I ordered it about 6pm EST friday night. The order processed immediately. It was listed as in the warehouse by noon monday, and I had shipping notification by 2pm. The tracking number was in the UPS system by about 6pm. At first it said it was coming a day early, but it is still coming on time according to UPS. All things considered, I have no reason to complain

Congrats Bluekota! Let us know what you think of it. Im going to update my truck today because I just plugged my tuner in and it uploaded a couple new files. I was really sceptical to buy one because I read some of the problems people had on the Superchips forum (like having no start conditions) but after I overcame that fear, I was happy I did.

And MrCrash, lets hope yours comes today! I wish the 05-07 models had as many options as your 08. Let us know what you can do with the transmission.

And congrats to you Josh! I tuned my truck and took it on a back country road and I couldnt get it above 110. It was a little hilly and bumpy so I had to let off a couple times so I will have to try it again. That was also before I put on my exhaust which I think I gained a little top end hopefully. All I know is 3rd gear sucks in my truck. That thing will pull all the way to 85mph in 2nd gear, and once it hits 3rd all the power is gone. It pulled me up to that 110 region, but it was crawling slowly and I was running out of road. Why did you have to send it to SC to get reflashed? Couldnt you just update it on your computer?

Tracking shows it out for delivery

I know I've said it before, but I'm surprised to hear how bad 3rd is for you. With my 32" tires, my gear ratio drops down to the 3.7 range from 3.92, but I have no issues pulling right up to the speed limiter. I won't win any races, but I can put the hammer down and get ahead of traffic if needed.

MrCrash said there is a 93 tune for the 08 Dakotas. Im interested to know if they have other options available to them.

And Im sorry, that was my mistake. I said options. I meant I wish we had the 93 tune and let us know what other options you have to see if there is a difference between 05-07 and 08+

Ive got those lovely 3.55 gears .... (sarcasm)
I wish I had 3.92 or 4.10's. I dont care about gas mileage. If I did I wouldve bought a Honda.

Hopefully we'll know in a few hours (unless someone with an 08 and the tuner jumps in sooner) I just wish they had real-time GPS tracking in the UPS trucks so I know how far away the guy is.

It's killing me knowing I may have to work late today with it sitting on my porch.
