06_SLT, welcome to the site and G3 Dakota section. I bought my Dakota new in 05 and I love it. I hope the Dakota doesn't go away and if it does, hopefully Dodge will bring it back better.

If they do.. and they do bring it back they'll probly bring it back depending on the economy and gas... if its all good they might drop a big block in em and slap R/T on it.
Seriously a unibody style? it would look ugly...Dakota's have been around for sometime and is doing very well i believe i mean when i said i wanted a truck with a v8 i was looking at Dakotas and Rams, and looking at jeeps with v8's in em ehhehe.

I don't think it will go anywhere. This is good publicity, at least with the logic that all publicity is good publicity.
And I know this is different but perhaps similar. Remember when Kmart went bankrupt, the next year they bought Sears. Hopefully Chrysler and the Dak will come back stronger than before.
