Default I'm a Dodge Traitor

Well, sort of. We traded the wife's 07 Durango for a 2010 Kia Borrego EX with 4.6L V8 4x4 Luxury. The 375 Horse Power the new TAU 4.6V8 (282 ci) puts out was too impresseive, lol.

140 more horse power when compared to older 4.7L and 70 more hp comparing it to the new 4.7L.
Stock Mopar 4.7 = 235hp
New Mopar 4.7L = 305hp
Stock TAU 4.6L = 375hp

A supercharged 4.6L will come out next year rated at 500 hp. Next year I plan to make a 500hp Borrego, lol.

Last year is when they started putting it on the us market. Hyundai has the 4.6L Genesis and Kia has the 4.6L Borrego. In the overseas market they also have a 3.0L Turbo Diesel that has become the big seller overseas. When we test drove the 4.6L Kia, all I could say was wow.

hendrixx324, I like Borrego but not that much, lol.

You see that what I’ve been saying all along. American vehicles are being trampled. Being beat at their own game. So much so that loyalty is going out the window. The only reason I have a Dak. In stead of a Frontier with a 263hp V6 was I told my wife I never want another foreign vehicle in my driveway. Even though Daimler was Chrysler’s part owner at the time. With the lack of quality in the Dak and GM and Chrysler are a joke anymore I hate to say this but Ford is my last Domestic choice. F150 for me and a Flex for my wife. The Flex 3.5L is a twin turbo at 355 horsepower, 350 lb.-ft. of torque. Dam! My Dak has become so wimpy that I might remove the V8 Hi Output badge so no one will want to run me. Just about everything around will leave me at the light including a bunch of four bangers.

You know if the wife aint happy no one is happy, I think I am going on 23 years of being married time flys by.. Since I work for Chrysler we dont buy any thing but Chrysler I do put my foot down with that one.. I never had any major problems with them but I cant say I am happy with the horse power we always seem to be lagging behind the competition, even this new 6 cylinder where are putting out dont make 300hp duhh.. I cant say I am a big kia fan but hope your wife enjoys it because life is short you got to enjoy it along the way.. Cya Slick

My parents have owned several kia's within the past 8 years, and god forbid she finds one with 500hp next year, not only will she purchasing a new one kia. I'm impressed by the spec's, not gonna lie
