Hendrixx,
Are you working on your transmission tuning this weekend? I am still driving around with the superchips config, but Im going to start putting together an excel graph for the shift schedule I want probably tomorrow. Let me know if you want to see what I have. I think Ill try doing an almost stock shift schedule at any throttle position lower than 30-40%, but anything abover 50% is going to be done aggressive. Let me know how its coming for you.

Im getting new pads, rotors, left lower ball joint and cv shaft installed on the 19th .... they are only charging 175 with the realignment and I have to bring my own parts so I think that is an awesome deal.

Im just finishing up my first attemp at putting a shift schedule together in excel. I can try and post it up when Im done. I probably wont be able to plug in the actual tune and fiddle with it until atleast Thursday ....
Im not sure how aggressive it will be .... Im just looking for a starting point.

Sorry to hear about the truck, hendrixx

Anyone looking to start learning how to make their own schedules or see how they are made, let me know. I have made a schedule using excel that is valid for a 2005 Dakota. I can send you the spreadsheet for you to start playing with settings for yourself or if you just want to see what this all consists of. A site to check out that has several shift shedules for Rams is:
http://www.mcfail.net/superchips/
It is just a bunch of different schedules posted up for people to start off with. I have taken one of these spreadsheets, plugged in the stock values for my Dakota, plugged some modified shift points in to my tuner, and then plugged in the modified values for a Dakota in to the spread sheet to see if it is a valid schedule. As far as the spread sheet goes, it is a valid schedule. I wont be able to test the actual schedule out on the truck for myself until probably Wednesday or Thursday. If you want to see my Dakota shift schedule, I can send you the excel file in an attachment to your email.

I'm going to try and program my truck tonight and see what happens. You would just need to verify that your stock settings are the same as mine before you use my tune. All the stock values are listed on my spreadsheet so its easy for others to verify. What's your email address?

Email sent ....

The tune does work on my truck, atleast up to 55mph. I didnt get a chance to take it on the freeway, and its tuned back to normal now until support is available hopefully this week.

A couple things I noticed; coming up to a stop, at around 18mph you can feel the truck downshift so that has to be fixed, and I also have to look at how to get it to shift up while cruising at 45mph. Right now it just holds it at 2k while cruising so it needs to go up another gear. But its a good starting point.
