one last question about this.. i know there is a ton of posts on here about these but I'm too lazy to search for the exact answer...lol....if you set your truck to maximum performance or whatever, do you then have to run premium fuel? i.e. in order to get the hp/torque gains they promote, do you have to run the premium (expensive) gas?

Yeah its not only for the performance but they advance the timing so such that you need it to avoid spark knock

If you want rock solid shifts? You need the Sharadon Performance Tranny Valve Body.

I spent $1,500.00 on mine and it was used. They are out there but you have to find them. Now we know the 4.6L adapter plates will work with Cobra superchargers that has opened an entirely new can of worms.

We will start with Camshaft. You have the option of HO, 206, 212, 212x and 224 grind cams.

You have several gears setups to choose from also. The trouble with 4x4 is finding a set for the front. For gears you have 3.55, 3.92, 4.10, 4.56 etc.

If you want to run boost look into sts turbo sytems.

Also any supercharger designed for the SVT Cobra 4.6L will work thanks to Airrams mounting bracket. You will have to have custom pulleys made to get the belts to line up.

Bigger Injectors
Bosch 0280156127 #39 Injectors designed for the SVT Cobra. They are a direct replacement.
