MPG ideas
as some of you know, i have been playen with some things to see if i can affect the milage for the better, and possibly gain some power along the way, first i tried to plug the egr, but it set a code, next i am going to try to route the egr pipe to the front of the truck, through a cooler, then back to the intake, i am also going to install a catch can on the pcv line and also route it through a cooler before going back to the intake, i also installed the 180 t-stat, i'm removing the trans cooler from the radiator and installing its own cooler out front, installing true duals with a dxnomax x-pipe muffler, i want to extend the CAI and enlarge the hole in the inner fender and hopefully instal the filter inside the fender, as well as wrap the cai or change it over to pvc, and removing the breather line from the cai and installing a filter on the valve cover, i have also been toying with the idea of trying to run a metered amount of propane/cng into the intake while crusing, as i have about 500 gallons of propane for free, any thoughts? and if anyone else has any reasonable/doable ideas, i may be willing to guinea pig them for ya

Where is the EGR on the 4.7l? Im sure mine has never been swapped out and for 50 bucks it would probably be worth it for me to do it.
Im definetly doing a catch can on mine .... My exhaust tips are black within a couple weeks from the oil blow by.
For the propane, the only thing I could think of is to hook it up like a nitrous system to the fuel rail so that each cylinder gets an even amount. Im not to sure I would run it all the time though .... Keep us posted though!
