well you took the first leap and retrofitted some adjustable coilovers. but since your not chaning any of the lengths or angles of the balljoints youll run into the same problems everyone else has with binding.

nice job on the install

longer CV's ONLY would not work. because the length of the control arms hasnt changed.

Nice work, it's good to see people forging ahead with their own stuff where the aftermarket has ignored us.

P.S. Welcome to DF!

He's going to use limit straps to prevent the suspension from reaching full droop. After it drops down a certain amount the strap will stop it so he doesn't get any bind with the extreme angle.

So those coils and the guy making the lift would be perfect.

i like but still think the angle on that upper u joint is not the best. i mean i had no lift oem shocks and my upper u joints went bye bye when it got put on a lift.

Look at the tie rod in the second picture of the initial post. That rack will be toast very quickly. The inner tie rod end will separate that rack pretty fast, unfortunately.

Sure this coil over could mean something good if a set of modified UCAs and a diff drop was fabricated with it. But I don't see anyway of getting around the tie rod issue. Even flipping the tie rod probably would not be enough with that amount of lift.

only way we could get a true lift is switchings out the front independent and putting a front axle.... sure money and gotta get the gears right but after that... shouldn't be to hard to lift.

idk i agree with alot of other people just the angle has me SAYING WTF...but i mean good job on the fab work and idea but is it worth the cost of alot more damage being done by fabing instead of just buying a levling kit?
