What other mods do you have to do for the 224 cams because krc says that they require new pistons? Is this true?

lol no. New valve springs and boost is what you need. And a custom tune.

So if im not looking for boost do you think 224's are too big?

224s require a custom tune, as they are actually designed for boosted applications. I would shoot hemifever@aol.com an email and ask him.

Or ask Watson performance, they won't recommend anything higher than 212. There ARE other cams besides 224 and HO... just research it.
