Sometimes the updater doesnt automatically "update" itself. Your best bet is to uninstall the program from your computer, and download the newest version off of superchips.com. Try that and let us know if it works. Otherwise you'll have to call their tech support.

It is totally worth the $40 though. I would honestly recommend the tuner just for the transmission tuning. Itll make your truck a blast to drive.

If you reduce torque managment, it will shift firmer.

If you do a custom schedule, you can make it shift at any point at any throttle position. For example, while cruising at a set speed with a stock shift schedule, in order for the truck to downshift you will have to give it x% of throttle. If the requiered TP% in order to downshift is high, this wastes gas and makes the truck less responsive.
In a custom schedule, you can make the downshifts happen with giving less throttle therefore saving fuel and being much more responsive when you hit the gas. In all honesty, this is as close to a manual transmission as you can get if you have an automatic. You can make the tranny shift at any time and its all custom, so you make it to your preferences. It takes a lot of time, but now that I have the transmission tune I have a hard time not driving with a smile on my face.
You can also make it hold in a gear longer than normal, or shift up sooner. And it is all determined by the TP%.

3865 or 3950. Then the trans option is an additional $39.95 per vehical.
