Just good Tune @ normal boost. Get into the 6lb and up range and start looking for meth injection, intercooler, Larger injectors, High volume or duel fuel pumps (which is what i had to do) and most of all DEEP Pockets.
well lets see. Blowns got over 100,000 miles and i put over 154,000 miles.....ding,ding ding...... that will be a yes lol
Yes Sir. I towed a 5,000 pound trailer 12,000+ plus miles up the mountains of West Virginia as I passed full size trucks pushing max RPMs, lol, I got some crazy looks. That was my PCS move from Portsmouth, VA to Omaha, NE last October. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...he-road-2.html
everyone talking turbos and chargers, no one mentioned nitrous? Wouldn't that be a quick pick me up for the 4.7?
Cheap upfront but in the long run can be real expensive. With out a good custom tune to go along with it you can run lean and fry an engine quick. I've personally saw a trailblazer literaly blow an intake up into its hood. Gave a whole new meaning to crowl hood. NOS can really shorten the life of the engine.

wanna talk nitrous, check out my system in the gallery, still running the hemi 125 shot, truck just turned 93000 miles, best bang for your buck, but again i have custom cams, gears, throttle body 2800 stall, sct tuner. it all comes together with a custom tune, you will spend some coin for tuning, but when you eat up hemi chargers on a daily basis, its fun
