I hear you Jerry, the ability to tune your own ride real time is critical.

Kenne Bell made a kit for the 4.7L for several years but don't anymore. You can still find used kits though.

Now stop that Blown, you make me what to spend some money lol. When i was looking at FI i was torn between going with the Paxton, ProCharger, Magna Charger and STS. The only reason i went with STS is because of the towability. Magna Charger makes the most complete kit for GM, Ford and the Dodge srt8's. Kenne Bell didn't work as well on GM. I like your setup for our trucks. I'm not sure of the limits of our tranny's. Anyone know the max. hp and torque a stock one can handle? I know of guys putting over 1000 hp and 1100lbs through stock 4L80E GM tranny with know issues. I had over 154000 mile on mine pushing over 530 lbs of torque through it. Boost is addictive.

Yes Sir it is. I have 100,700 miles on my truck and no issues yet. My only drive train mods are 4.10 gears and a Edge 3000 stall. I started out with a 3.5" pulley @ 11psi boost. I've been running a 3.25" pulley @ 14psi for over a year now.

I would love to see more boosted G3 Dakotas, lol.

well thats a good sign . I don''t know if i'll go FI on this truck but i've been thinking about doing a front mount turbo on 6.0 chevy and slipping it into an old S10. i know i'll be able to get that in the 10's and still be street legal. As a matter of fact i have a guy that wants to trade me a truck for my old boat. i already have the 6.0

FI is hard to tune. To do it properly it would be best to find a tuner with a dyno. Or get a generic tune from sct and have a way to scan and log as you drive and send that info back to them so they can adjust the tune which could be more a pita. If it was GM product i could help you out. a sfar as the TC it can wait.
