I had to weld long bolts to the front mounts to keep them from spinning. What a pain!
thats common, i had to do the same thing on my pick up when it was new, the kit is much eaiser to install... what are you doing with the steering, radiator, fan shroud, core support, ect? there are also a few wires that wont clear, keep us updated as i dont think anyone has completed a DIY body lift yet on a 3rd ren dak

u can do it in a weekend by yourself.... thats what i did. if you have a extra set of hands, it can be done in 1 day if the front mount bolts dont give you too much trouble! BUT THEY PROBABLY WILL!!!!
Thanks for the tip. A weekend isn't so bad. I'm glad my truck isn't my daily driver so I can take my time! Maybe I'll start spraying some good penetrating oil up in those front mounts now so by the time I get to doing this it may help.

im curious if you gonna regret not to go with the full kit when come time for bumper brackets! in your case i would dump stock bumper and fab some like dodge trucker !!!
