Default Lifted...I'm so angry :(

Well I don't know if any of you get 4Wheel&Offroad mags but I got mine in the mail the other day and I'm so upset. I've been busy building my jeep with new axles and suspension that I've put my Dakota on hold. I was hoping to be the first to do a SAS for 3rd Gen but it seems I've been beat.

He went with radius arms front and rear as well as Dana 60's. He got enough lift to fit 38s. Four link would have been nice...Maybe I'll catch up sometime

A couple pictures of this truck were posted in another thread, but I dont think it was on the cover of that magazine. It must be making its way around now.

I agree with blown! That truck looks awesome!

My sub ran out 2 months ago, dangit!

Looks like I will be running to my local grocery store after work to get me a copy!!!

How much would something like that cost if I were to make it strong enough for 35" tires? I assume a dana 44 in the front would be adequate for mild to moderate wheeling?

...great...fml. That thing looks amazing. Well, I suppose that the truth is out. With enough dough you can make bread.

if you read the article, he hand built every bit of the lift. Read it in the store then put it back on the shelf lol.

A home grown long arm lift isn't anymore than a lift for any other solid axle kit...should be cheaper really. It's just more because it needs at least a front axle. An axle upgrade isn't really a surprise cost either to hardcore wheelers...

A stock Dana 44 would be fine. Your biggest worry would be hard steer and in a bind. Most 2nd gens pic their front and rear from a Waggy anyhow...which is a 44.

That is the problem with our trucks, almost 0 aftermarket support. Most of my performance mods are parts intented for other makes and models.
