Mine stays around a 1/4 on the temp gauge. I'm also going to fab up some side brackets for it also.

is your whole fan mounted by only those two screws up top?

I also have a zip tie holding the bottom. One day this week I will make a set of steel brackets for the sides and the zip ties will be gone!

On the side of the radiator there are mounting holes for the rubber guards. I'm going to make a bracket in the shape of a "C" and attach the fan to the radiator mounting holes.

Red face Spal controller pricey...

The spal controllers I saw on ebay were $$$. Do I need something like that or would a universal fan controller work? Say, something like this?

Yep, those will certainly work. I walked newmexicodak through the wiring on his and his works great. If you need help with it, just let me know.

thanks for the info, blown. Found the HHR fan on ebay. Probably buy the fan next payday, the controller, the payday after that...
