So is that carbon build up on the TB blade and inside the TB sensors all from the breather hose? Or does some of that come from inside the engine during WOT?

all of that is from the breathers, and oil type filters tend to leave deposits too

Sweet, then I have no problem removing that breather tube from my intake!

Eric, the catch cans are definetly popular on the turbos. Any how-to online is most likely a guy with a turbo. Its hard to find someone doing it with a N/A but there are people out there that have a lot of success with them on an N/A. Guys with turbos swear by them.

Dtrucker, is there any specific "in" and "out" for these catch cans? It doesnt come with any instructions and I havent opened the box yet. Im thinking there ist.

no instructions, no in/out differences, hook it up how you please, on another thought, there is nothing in the tank, its open, i thought trying to fill it steel wool or something similar might make it a better oil seperator, just need to find a way to get it in there

Are all catch cans open? I wouldve thought they would have something to actually seperate the air from the oil?

i'm not sure...

on another thought... WOT = very little or no vacuum at all, so no pcv, most all blow by at that will go to the breather
