Its the general interest of the G3 Dakota Crowd. We have guys with 13 second Dakotas putting out over 400hp, but the G3 section would rather talk about a stock leveled V6 with some spray paint modification.

wow now a hemi swap would be bitchn...does anyone know the rule on that? like you can't have an engine newer MODEL year in your vehicle or something like that? And i know this will be a ? with different answers but how much would putting a hemi motor in a dakota cost and what modifications would have to be made?

No doubt about it. The $ depends on your skill level and access to tools. One good thing, Dusty05 is running his Hemi off his stock PCM in his 05 dakota. He just piggybacked the secondary coils off the primary. Hemifever wrote the tune that made it possible. So yes, with an SCT our PCM and wiring harnesses run a 5.7L Hemi.
