If you don't know what your doing you can get a lemon on anything you do, including a motor swap. Its easier to go boost than to execute an engine swap. With an engine swap you will have to get a custom oil pan for clearance, have custom motor mounts welded up and you will have to re-run all the wiring compatible with that PCM. Most Dakota Hemi swaps have taken several weeks to months.

A 4.7L setup will work on a 3.7L, its all about the tuning.

AAAAGGGGHHHH!! I shoulda had a V8! oh well. I noticed a slight 1/4 mile improvement without the tailgate (no, I dont belive up or down saves gas Mythbusters) probably 50lbs of weight. Tonight I removed the reese hitch assembly. That thing was a monster. Cant wait to go back to the track and see what I can get with that off!

The guy called me back today. said it was pretty much a computer swap, and that you could tune the 3.7L with it! The only problem was they werent in it like diablo and sct, and others as far as promoting HP gains with there system. So, he wasnt sure. At least he was honest...
