I just ordered my MBRP side exit dual cat-back system (I got no reply to my email inquiry on M____ [competitor] website). prices were close (within $25) but I think I like the side exit better than rear anyway, for spare tire concerns. Should receive kit next Mon. / Tues. I hope.

Congrats! Youll never look back once you hear it on your truck. Hitting the gas in my truck still makes me smile and its almost a year now .... it sounds THAT good.

I've been looking at the Magnaflow dual out cat back system, but a little turned off by the $750+ price tag. The eBay kit looks interesting, but wonder about the longevity of the aluminized steel pipe.

If youre only planning on keeping the truck 2 years, go with aluminized. If youre looking at more of a long term vehical, spend the extra money and get stainless as it will save you from doing any more work on your exhaust later on. And in the cold weather of Canada, theres constant condensation building up inside the exhaust system and an aluminized system will rot out from the inside in no time.

That's what I was thinking. Plan on having the truck many more years, so stainless is what I want. I have a guy that will use a Magnaflow muffler and bend stainless to fit. It's a lot cheaper, but I wasn't 100 % happy with the job he did on my '98. I guess I'll bite the bullet for the Magnaflow system, and have someone weld it for me.

Go to MagnaflowDirect.com for a price around $500 ($750 list / 500 something on sale, but click the "best price" & they'll email you an even lower price. I agree -dont get the aluminized if youre going to hold on to the truck, you'll have to replace it too soon.
I'm getting my MBRP T409 stainless dual catback system (side exit) for $425 at autoanything.com. Should be here Tuesday!

You will love it. I have the MBRP 3" single exit catback and I still grin every time I start it up.

How is the interior noise? One thing I'm worried about is too much drone. Does anyone know how Magnaflow and MBRP compare for noise level?

I went to autoanything.com but could not find the dual system, only the single. Maybe it's different for other model years.

Magnaflow.com also only shows up to 2008. Does anyone know if there is a difference on the 2009 models?
