Hey guys this is probably stupid question but is there an easy way to tape of the reverse light on the tail lights or just tape it off as best as possible? I want to add another coat but wet sand the lights this time. Thanks

I thought about doing the same thing when I nite shaded mine but i just do not have a steay enough hand to cut an exact semi circle like required and I if you make even a nick into the red it will look odd when it comes on you will see the white and the red where your tracing was off.

A little trick to this that I found when I did mine was to leave the casing attached and turn on the light when you are taping and cutting, that way you have a better line to go by. That seemed to be the easiest way for me nyways, and then take them off to coat them.

I don't have any pics of my truck uploaded yet. I don't have a camera and wouldn't know how to post them anyways lol, but I will see if I can get a friend to take some pics of them and post them for me within the next day or so. I night shaded all of the tail lights with two coats except for the clear semi circle, which I left clear.

scotch make "fine line tape" for this exact perpos, its what i use and very easy to work with and make any shape, as well as leaving a minimal ridge from the paint line, any place that carries automotive paint should have it
