You mean with the resistors?

Thats all a power wire is; a resistor within a wire to change the value of the signal going to the PCM to make it seem colder. If you paid $50 for a power wire from Air Ram, it was too much unless you like the quick connect/disconnect ability. You can hardwire a resistor in for under a buck.

Yes you can. All I did was relocate my air temp sensor. I made a 4ft wire extension and have it in the frame of the truck outside the engine bay. Works like a dream and cost me about 75 cents.
