how hard to install? did you wire them into the head lights or a switch?

dinger man i like your signature picture! bigole boat makes the dakota look more of a beast being able to haul it! i wonder while towing if you turned the boats motor on and let it go if the MPG would increase? lol totally joking! but that would be cool to see!

they were not too difficult to install. i installed the center one first then one side one at a time in order to get a good lineup. then the outside marker lights i set a little bit further back than the three center ones. i siliconed them just to be safe...dont want any water running in lol. the wire is sent to the fuse box and connected to the parking light fuse so that when i cut on my lights they are always on too

I did mine the same way, didn't know four years ago that there was a wiring harness in the passenger pillar of the Rams at the time, I am usually the guinea pig with such installs - Saw a nice hole with a rubber grommet on the drivers side firewall so I took the driver pillar off, if I came down the other side I'da seen it.

Dunno if there is one in the Daks.

Not a hard install ONCE you get over the fear of drilling through your roof!!!

Lately when the humidity is really high, I'm getting some condensation on the inside of the lenses, not coming through (I siliconed the **** outta the holes), I guess I'm gonna have to get my fat a$$ up and back screws out of the lenses and seal 'em up good. But I'm not complaining, been since the spring of '06 and this will be the first time I've had to touch them...

I have some on mine. I got the smoked lenses.

I replaced the standard bulbs with LEDs because replacing the bulbs suck.

How hard? I don't know. I had a shop install them. I wanted it done right.

BTW, we get a discount at Recon on their LED sets, I believe it's 15%. Type "dodgeforum" in the coupon code box...
