Talking Running no mufller just reso's

Last night I finally cut my muffler out and just ran a straight pipe in its place. I left both reso's on and the cat so I still have plenty of back pressure, IMO it sounds good for a V6. Nice low rumble at idle, a little roar during acceleration. Will get a sound clip when I get home from work.

When I had a V6 in my old chevy and wanted to put an exhaust on everyone kept telling me it would sound like crap and a ricer. Im curious to hear what it sounds like. I ended up doing a glasspack on my old truck ..... and it didnt sound too good. I love having the sound of a V8 with my Dakota now. If only it performed like a V8

to think i coulda saved myself...let's see now, $200 for original dual kit, $125 to get it welded up and tips put on, $90 for a new magnaflow, $125 for replacing the flowmaster with the magnaflow....thats $540 for my dual exhaust!! I could have just bought a straight piece of pipe for $20 and cut out the muffler....oh the things I learn the hard way.....
