did you request white letter? I read on their site that they make every effort to match the base tire....but they can't guarantee. Looks like yours were all terrains?

Thats a sweet looking tread pattern .... and the BFGs have a hard sidewall so you should have a decent truck tire. How much tread do they have?

If youre looking for a tire that looks like the BFG AT, go for the General Grabber AT2s. I was quoted $500 vs $1000 for the BFGs .... they look like the same exact tire and they have some pretty good reviews. Im just more of a name brand guy.

Yup, I believe that was for the 245/70/16s though. I wasnt too interested in anything but the BFGs, but I did ponder it for a while because it was much cheaper.

would a 285-65/17 fit our trucks w/o a leveling kit? I want a wider tire but know we can't go too much higher than stock.

285 75 r17 is like 33 inches or more. Im pretty sure you would at the very least need a leveling kit. Possibly even a body lift. Im gana have trouble fitting my 265 75 r 16 with a leveling kit
