Default Rear Disc Brake Conversion

Well, I finally found a company that makes a rear disc conversion for our trucks. After exchanging emails with them I'm going to be buying this kit after the holidays. If anyone wants to try it out before I do, here it is.

Great find, man. Looks like @ $1300.00 for everything. (plain rotors, calipers w/parking brakes and stainless hose) and it works with ABS. Man that is going to be added to my Christmas list fo sho!

I've been emailing companies for about a month now and this is the only one that has replied with Yes, we have a conversion kit for the 2005 Dakota. Wahoo! I'm still on my stock drums/pads at 103k and they are super low.

They even have a caliper kit compatible with our parking breaks!

Looks more like $670 to me.
Kit with standard rotors = $260
Calipers with parking brake = $300
Lines and hoses = $110

Looks like the other rotors and calipers are options

One thing to keep in mind: The flange changed in 2007 and up (Maybe mid 2006 and up.)
I will have to look and see which flange they are referring to in the pic.

Nice find, indeed! This is a must have!

Well, once I have it on and operational I will try and find a set of matching drilled/slotted rotors. The company sells them as an option but I think it would look sick to see a 4 wheels on a G3 Dakota with drilled/slotted rotors.
