truckbed toolbox
looking to get one that has a lock, def has to be metal. ive seen alot but dont wanna be payin more than 200-300 bucks for one. i found a lot on craigslist but i dont know what dimensions i should be looking for. tired of keeping my back seats folded up so they dont get dirty from my tool bags lol
i haul 1-2 boxes of cat5/cat3 cable around with me all the time so hoping to find something that will hold 2 boxes and a small hand tool bag and a cordless drill set (milwaukee .. the big red carrying box u know )
TL;DR
need dimensions for in bed tool box
has to be able to fit 2 boxes of cable, 1 small toolbag, cordless drillset

Good box costs money. Although I lucked out when I bought mine. Local truck accessory shop was going out of business, marked my UWS down from $289 to $179. Perfect size for me, I keep three plastic milk crates inside to keep my sh*t sorted and still have room for a big canvas tool bag on the bottom and it's still high enough to slide the tray overtop.
Deals are out there if you look hard enough...

You could just do this, it was only about $50.
It is held in by a ratchet strap and I used a bike lock to lock it in plus if i have to its just the right size to be put in the back seat if i need the whole bed.
