1st thing I noticed was a change in idle, faster take off and increased RPM range (around 300rpm higher) at WOT. You will be able to hear a difference in the idle but it doesn't lope or thump.

To my knowledge, there are no cams at all that really make a 4.7l lope or thump at idle, they are all pretty smooth.

However...KRC is making some that are supposed to be pretty BA, they are expecting mid Febuary. The price is outrageous tho $1300

You know come to think of it, I have seen several places that grind custom cams, what do you guys think it would cost to have a set ground for our trucks that has say specs like this

.525 lift intake
.550 lift exhaust

226 duration intake
230 duration exhaust

118-120 LSA

Not hard numbers, I honestly have no idea, what kind of valve piston clearances this engine has...Much less with a set of ross domed 11.1:1 Pistons.

I have yet to see any cam offered for the 4.7 that has more than .500 lift on either intake or exhaust.

Bruno, here you go. I have the KRC 224 Cam (Watson Performance now). 224 Blower Cams 224/224 .500 lift, 115 lsa with negative 9 degrees of overlap.
