Are you still working on your body kit, Eric? I still want to see that thing on the truck!

Alright well I purchased all the parts needed for my Intake and found a K&N 3" filter on ebay for 14.99. So far I'm $35 into the project. Just have to wait for that to come and I'll be almost ready to install. Any idea on what size grommet is needed for the IAT sensor? I'll put up pictures as soon as I've got it installed.

I made one out of abs pipe, similar to the original link you have there. Threw a K&N on the end and I love it, sound is much better since the resonator it gone.

Word of warning for anyone doing a DIY intake; dont use PVC. When PVC heats up, it releases toxic chemicals which is why it is only approved for cold water applications. CPVC or ABS are the only things I would use; and Im not sure if you can get CPVC in 3" applications.

I did for highway driving slightly. City driving no, but thats a given. Made the truck peppier around 2200rpm to the shift point. I ran the numbers(approximation) for a research project for one of my classes, came out to about a 2-2.5 mpg increase at an avg speed of 105km/h(yes I converted)
