Yes, I looked into it and there is PLEANTY of room. The hardest part/only thing stopping it is a cross member chassis support spanning from the left to the right that is directly over the gas tank. So to move it up, this would need to be cut off, extended, raised with blocks, and rewelded/bolted on. This would also give support back to the bed that was lost due to the 3 inch body lift. I will definitely do it when I get a chance and a friend to help take the bed off.

I also plan on doing full skid plates across the bottom from front to back. Moving the gas tank up will allow the plates to sit higher and remain level across from the left chassis to right.
