Default FML and this exhaust

Let me just say, Magnaflow did not make this exhaust system simple to install!

Everything seams 2" to short LOL. I think I am going to able squeeze it all together, but man oh man what a pain in the A$$ They need to elongate the pipe from the y-pipe to the muffler 2" and everything would snap together!

I spent like 3 hours tonight working on it, which included removal of the old, lifting the truck up, and getting my work environment set up. I feel I have another 3 hours to go on it.

Sorry to hear brother but at least you have the satisfaction of doing it yourself! Hopefully that next step won't take 3 hours and you will be rumbling.

yea when i was reading some reviews on that exhaust, a whole bunch of guys said that it was an awesome exhaust, except for the fact that some hangers didn't match up perfectly, and that it was a few inches short.

Other than that they had nothing to complain about the sound of it though.

Good luck with the rest of the install.

I cant believe a Magnaflow system has that many problems. Being a major exhaust company, I would expect a lot more from them. Sorry about your troubles man.

Well after digging out the trusty ole acetylene torch to bend the **** out of the hangers I was able to get the exhaust system done. I swear Magnaflow will be receiving a letter from me about this system. They need to make that freaking pipe from the y-pipe to the muffler 2" longer.

So no sound clip right now due to it being like -8 out. I froze my a$$ off to get some quick ****ty pics. But sound wise its actually pretty quite. I would compare it to the MBRP sound quality. Nice rumble, not much back popping which is a huge plus. I feel tons more low end which was lost. I can break the tires in first second and third which was scary my first WOT.

I will say its nice to be able to use my phone while I drive. The entire cab and everything in the truck would vibrate with no exhaust. Now its kinda nice and smooth. The exhaust actually makes the engine sound stronger.
