I emailed Superchips for their dyno sheet and that is what they sent. It is also pasted on the Superchips photobucket page.

Even without the TB
205 and 271!!!!
Compare that to the specs on the 08+
214 and 223? 223 ft/lbs of torque? that's it? So if I wanna tow... i'm picking my 05 and putting an exhaust on it with a chip. I mean, cmon, did they trade all the torque for horsepower on these things?

Well blown does that make you not want a 08+ 4.7?

That is why I've been pushing for dyno sheets. This makes me want to forge mine, port/polish the heads and run stupid boost, lol.

I hope we can get a couple of our 08+ 4.7L guys to dyno so we can see some #s for comparison.

I found this on another forum....
08 RAM 4.7
4.7L dyno results
mods: Airaid CAI, aftermarket Y-pipe with 40 series Flowmaster, superchips set on 93 octane.

overall i'm pretty happy with the results. That was with a decent sized exhaust leak and an intake manifold leak. Going back soon since the truck now has headers and no more exhaust leaks.

214-225 rwhp is still low for an engine rated at 310 hp. I was honestly expecting 245-255 for a base line dyno. Either the engine isn't tuned to/putting out 310 at the crank or the 545-rfe is getting worse at putting power to the wheels.

A while back Hammer said best engines in the world matched to the wost, most inefficient transmission in the world, lol.

TIME FOR A TRANNY SWAP!!!!!!

This may be why Dakota sales really dropped off the past few years. Not only were they not promoted, but even with the new 4.7l, they were nothing impressive. And with the stock DBW, Ive heard that is one dog of a truck to drive.
