yeah well my right side speakers work but not the left and my brother in law checked the wires and they are good so its gotta be the head unit...but if i'm gonna do the headunit i might as well just go ahead and upgrade the speakers as well!
If i can find a dyno nearby I'll go dyno it, with superchips and without, as i seem to be the only person in the world with a 2010 Dakota... I will say this though, I destroyed my friends 5.9L RT with superchips, my truck is stock except for superchips 87octane tune.
I have a 08, and I can say for sure that the horsepower is deffinitly twords the top, over 5000 all the way to the redline, and you can really feel it, normal driving though is in the 2000rpm range, moves fine there but the funreally is in the above 5000RPM range....
Way back when these trucks started showing up, I went and test drove a new 4.7 dakota... I cant find the thread. But everyone called me a liar when I said it felt like it lost its bottom end...

Yeah, you can definetly see the power curve on the dyno sheets. Ride that engine until redline to get the most power
For the onlder 4.7s, I find getting out of first by 5300RPM is best .... the sweet spot is between 3000-5000RPM. Not a whole lot of range there. Lol

I certainly didn't brother, I test drove one also but I thought it was due to tuning. But crap, even with the Superchips tune it's still nowhere where it should be.
