Here are some pics of my new intake I built. I was really easy to do and cost about $80.

Here I had to splice in some more wire to this sensor

I used a 90 degree, 60 degree, a 2' x 3" pipe (all ABS pipe) a heat duct clamp and ABS glue from Home Depot a grommet kit and extra hose clamps from Checker the filters I got at auto zone the rubber sleeve I have to order from spectre needed a 4" one and I couldn't find a store that had a 4" only 3"

Looks good Marc!

The intake definetly makes these engines louder .... in a good way. Before I got my intake, all I had was an exhaust and I could hear it pretty well at WOT. Now with an intake, all I hear is the engine roaring.

Thanks. mine starts to roar at about 2500rpms and just gets louder till about 4600 or so

here's another one of those Bobby, is having a 4" pipe any better than a 3" ??

Well, let me explain:

If you're in to fatties, I recommend a 4" pipe minimum.

A 3" pipe will work, but you aren't going to get much more than a small chuckle because all you will be doing is tickleing her.

A 3" pipe is well suited for all other women. There's a point where big becomes too big...

And on a side note, if you are in to fatties, dont forget to strap a 2x4 (a piece of lumber, not an actual truck) to your back so you don't fall in
